Colour: Deep amber

Nose: Raisin, apricot, cafe au lait, Mizunara (Japanese oak)

Palate: Blackberry, strawberry jam, dark chocolate

Finish: Long, spicy, smooth

Founded in 1923, Yamazaki distillery recently celebrated its 100th Anniversary.

The Yamazaki 18 Year Old is a multiple award winner in spirits competitions all over the world.

Most recently it was crowned Supreme Champion in New York at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) making it three years in a row that Yamazaki has been awarded the competition's highest honour.

Matured in a combination of sherry, bourbon and Mizunara casks.
