Robert Webber, Director of The Whisky Source

An alumnus of Edinburgh University, Robert began his journey in whisky in 2010 on the shop floor of Milroys of Soho, the legendary bottler, distributor, retailer - and now a bar - in the heart of central London. This was followed by a number of successful years at Hedonism Wines, a mecca for luxury drinks, where he really learnt the trade he practices today. 

In his 15 years in the industry, he has worked with some fascinating customers, from Silicon Valley types to diplomats, Hollywood actors to sports stars and everyone in between. He has had the opportunity to meet and learn from industry legends such as Willie Phillips (Macallan), Colin Dunn (Diageo), Richard Paterson (Dalmore), Richard Seale (Foursquare), Drew Mayville & Preston Van Winkle (Buffalo Trace), Joe Magliocco (Michter's), Brent Elliott (Four Roses), Rachel Barrie (Glenmorangie and Glendronach), David Stewart (Balvenie), Angus MacRaild (Whisky Sponge) and Sukhinder Singh (The Whisky Exchange).
