1988 Highland Park 30 Year Old Signatory Vintage 30th Anniversary

Notes from the producer:
The heady initial nose is at once earthy/peaty, smoky and fruity (apple). Allowed to breathe, floral aromas become increasingly present. Malted barley marks its territory with huge presence on the attack. It continually flirts with a rooty peat (gentian). The long finish is musky, animal (bacon) and extremely malty.
