2006 Worthy Park 12 Year Old Cask Strength

Sugar cane has been grown on the Worthy Park Estate in Jamaica since the year 1720. Rum production on the estate has been intermittent since then, ceasing most recently in 1962 due to an oversupply in the post-war years.

A new distillery was constructed in 2005 by the Clarke family to produce 100% pot still rums on site, using only their own sugar cane. This 2006 bottling is tropically matured for the entire period in once used American oak barrels.

This bottling has quietly picked up some of the highest critical acclaim since its launch, including full marks from the two most influential rum blogs on the interweb.

A limited edition of 8,000 bottles released in 2018.
